General Club Information

At FC Bardia, our goal is not to conform to the traditional model of a football club; rather, we aspire to be a community that individuals genuinely desire to be a part of—not only for our footballing endeavours but also because we foster a culture of unity and belonging.

Our vision is to create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment where players of all ages can begin, develop, and continue their footballing aspirations.

The development of young footballers, the talent of tomorrow, stands at the heart of our mission. With the dedicated team we have assembled, backed by extensive experience and a clear strategic direction, we are poised for a future of success and growth in the years ahead.

The home of FC Bardia is located at Maxwells Creek Oval in Bardia, NSW. Located in the Macarthur Football Association, the grounds are located just off Campbelltown Road in Bardia. You can get accurate directions via Google maps here

FC Bardia accepts registrations for Under 5s through to All Age Men & Women and Over 35s. Catering to all skill levels, from grassroots beginners to development squads (MSAP and MYL)

FC Bardia participates in the Macarthur Football Association (MFA), which is the governing body for grassroots football in Campbelltown, Camden, and Wollondilly. We also enter development squads (MSAP and MYL) to  participate in those specific leagues tailored for skill development.

FC Bardia was started by a group with extensive footballing experience in coaching and development, both overseas and in Australia, and saw a need for a club that was hyper-focused on developing players not registration numbers.

Teams & Age Groups

Players must register for the age group of the age they are turning in the current calendar year (e.g., if turning 10 this year, register for U10)

Our policy is that players must register for the age group of the age they are turning in the current calendar year (e.g., turning 10 this year = U10).

Any exceptions or requests to "play up" would typically need to be discussed with the registrar or football co-ordinators after initial registration.

Yes. Registration links for junior age groups (U5–U18) are generally open to both males and females. The club will allocate players to teams, which may be mixed or gender-specific depending on numbers. Players and their parents will always be consulted should they be asked to join a mixed team.

There are dedicated All Age Women (AAW) and All Age Men (AAM) competitions for seniors.

The minimum required amount of players for each age group is as follows:

U5 to U7 - 4 Players
U8 to U9 - 7 Players
U10 to U11 - 9 Players
U12 and Older - 11 Players

Teams will then have an appropriate number of players above these minimums to cater for reserves and inability of players to attend matches on the odd occasion.

The total number will take this into consideration along with the need to rotate playing time amongst the team and being able to field a team on game day.

The club encourages early registration to avoid this. If a team cannot be formed, the club will typically work to merge age groups (where permitted), encourage or increase advertising of specific ages that need filling on social media or, as a last resort,  refund the registration fee (standard MFA practice)

Training is held at Maxwells Creek Oval.

Specific days and times are determined at the "Mini Muster",at the beginning of the season and are agreed upon by the coach and parents to suit the team's availability.

Any changes to the training schedule are communicated through the team's whatsapp group chat.
